"Author Flo Levia has gifted us with a highly relatable book that skillfully interweaves her own multi-year healing journey through chronic health issues with nuggets of information about multiple alternative healing modalities she found along the path. She has created a kind and respectful book. Readers will find themselves entranced by her stories and learning a great deal from how she integrates key concepts from neurobiology with what authentic healing is all about."

This book is incredible and a must read for anyone who is seeking answers to their health challenges! The author's description of her journey towards healing and wholeness is engaging and an inspiration to anyone who may suffer from less-than-optimal health. The connections she makes between limiting beliefs formed early on in her childhood and the debilitating state of her physical and cognitive well-being as an adult, are insightful and described in a way that totally captivates the reader's attention. It was a real page turner and I read it in 2.5 days! Important concepts such as neuroplasticity and nervous system states are fully explored within the context of a variety of healing modalities the author explored to improve her quality of life. If anything, this book provides hope when nothing seems to be working and really brings home the message that perseverance and never giving up is key!

This book is the most hope-filled, well-written, transparent, accessible, and informative book I've read in many, many years! A real page-turner! I often had to put it down (which was hard to do!) to allow processing time. I laughed; I cried; I cheered; I held my breath; I learned. I am inspired by the author's journey of perseverance and resilience. She never gave up on herself, and now she encourages the reader to do the same.
